The program is designed to provide comprehensive training in Electronic Health Records. The students will learn how to work with Electronic Health Records and different components of this new technology including scheduling, billing, and medical charts. Students will learn about population care and the health care system. Students will learn about the application of technologies in medical practices.
Completers will be qualified for entry-level positions as Health information Technology specialists. Graduates can work in medical offices and health care centers, hospitals, and companies that produce and maintain electronic medical records.
